Pursuant to Act No. 7888 the Judicial Branch Administrative Office (JBAO), headed by an Administrator of Courts, who is appointed by the Chief Justice, is responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, and enforcing all non-judicial matters throughout the branch and related to policies, standards, procedures, programs, and personnel. In addition to these responsibilities, the JBAO, in consultation with the Chief Justice, the Presiding Judge and the Judicial Management Advisory Council, develops the annual budget for the branch and oversees the expenditure of funds consistent with its procurement and disbursement policies.
